  Build a retaining garden wall out of railway sleepers

  Mr Hardys team were punctual and polite. They were helpful when I needed to make decisions and showed a good deal of patience. They worked hard and got the jobs done speedily but with attention to detail. They also cleaned up after them selves leaving my house and garden looking good. My Hardy seems to have a wealth of experience and expertise and was always happy to explain things to me. I would definitely recommend and will be using him again. They are a lovely family team.

  Full refurbishment - structural, kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, electrical, windows and doors

  Jon and his team are excellent. He is knowledgeable, fair and trustworthy. We completed a full renovation of our home including knocking down structural walls, installing beams, new bathrooms and kitchen, new flooring, windows and doors, electrical work and plumbing plus decoration and carpentry work. Jon is problem solver. He is creative, practical, and managed to find solutions that worked for everyone involved. The key to any building project is communication. Jon is approachable and gives of his time to work through issues. 100% recommend.

  Made 2 holes bigger in granite kitchen surface - reconnected taps

  In less than 24 hours from posting John had replied and visited and completed the work. Couldn’t have asked for a better service than that and reasonable charge. Polite - respectful and arrived earlier than expected. Happily recommend him to anyone - will without doubt use again if need arises for any other jobs in our house

  New kitchen worktop

  I found John Hardy on facebook. He came on time to quote and was polite and professional with no " hard sell". A typed estimate came very soon after. Booking was a pleasure and my queries answered in a timely fashion. On the day, John arrived on time with a colleague. The work took the right amount of time, was to a good standard and the site left tidy. No hesitation in recommending again! Simon
