  Great service. Viewed property quickly and gave a great price. Arranged for this weekend, arrived promptly and completed the work quickly. Left no mess and I am very pleased with the result! Will definitely be using again!

  I am happy to give a very positive reference and would recommend Male and his workmen. Male gave a very reasonable quote and kept to that even as little extras were added. For a week-long job, he arrived early and left late, and didn’t seem to stop all day. There were inevitable delays because of bad weather, which was not conducive to bricklaying, so the week became a week and a bit, but that's very understandable considering the rain! He is a cheerful craftsman and always leaves the site clean and tidy, and the rebuilt wall looks very smart.

  Quality Work and Professional Service - Clear Scope Upfront Recommended

  Prompt response to my advert with clear communication throughout, and able to start the job quickly. Work onsite was completed efficiently to a high standard, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. There was a misunderstanding about what “make good” included regarding painting, but this was resolved amicably with a fair compromise. I’d recommend clearly agreeing the full scope upfront, but I’m very happy with the quality of work and would recommend.

  Mal was a reliable and straightforward builder to work with. His pricing was very reasonable and he was extremely efficient throughout the job. He kept the site tidy, cleared up after himself each day and communicated well so we always knew what was happening. We are very happy with the quality of the finished result and would recommend him.

  Mal and the team at MR Construction delivered our house refurbishment to a very high standard. He showed a genuine appreciation for retaining original Victorian features, which was handled with real care and respect. What started as a piggy-back loft conversion grew into a full house refurbishment, and Mal scaled the job and team seamlessly, delivering impressive timescales throughout. Most importantly, Mal is completely trustworthy and a man of his word. Over the project he became akin to a family builder — someone we felt comfortable relying on and would highly recommend.
