Positives first: Movivan fit us in at short notice, communication was good, and the movers arrived on time and worked efficiently.
Unfortunately, an item was damaged during the move. The mover apologised at the time and accepted responsibility, but when we contacted the office afterwards, the damage was disputed and responsibility denied.
We were also told that any reimbursement would have to come out of the employee’s wages, which was presented as our problem as customers. Eventually a second-hand replacement part was sent for us to fit ourselves. The move was fine; customer service was poor.

We are sorry that one item was damaged during the move. Once notified, we immediately offered to replace the chest of drawers or the damaged divider. You chose to replace the divider yourself, and we sourced and paid for the replacement part, arranging delivery directly to your address.
While any damage is regrettable, we believe we acted promptly and fairly to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We wish you all the best in your new home.
