  Trailer Chassis welding

  Arrived on time to view the work and quote. It was immediately clear he knew his trade and expertise. Agreed date for works to be undertaken. Arrived on time and carried out the required work to the highest standard and was a delight to talk to. The sort of person who could very easily become a trusted friend. I would certainly highly recommend him for welding works in our area and would certainly contact him again for any future works of this nature.

  Replacement of flimsy external tap support with galvanised steel post

  Another fantastic job by Colin. I had a rotten external tap mount. Colin sited a new post and drove it 1.2m deep ensuring upright and level position. This using a galvanised steel post and stainless steel bolts. A failure of the soldered joints was detected, and remedial works were carried out at no cost to me. A new upright pipe and re-application of flux and high silver solder to the elbow joint was added to help with weathering. Thanks again Colin for a top, robust job done!

  Welding, straightening and strengthening of two steel supports

  I really would highly recommend Colin of Mobile Welding South. After I send a couple of pictures over, Colin confirmed he could do the job and was accommodating and flexible when I had to change the date of our appointment due to a business trip. Colin is a very knowledgeable guy, really understands his trade, carefully explained to me what he was going to do, why he was going to do it and did it. The welding was done and finished professionally, to a very high standard and couldn’t be more pleased. Colin is also a true gent!

  A level project for my son

  Really great experience with Colin who went above and beyond to help us with our son's welding project. We think he should get part of the A level! he was so understanding, very patient, professional and was a great font of knowledge. We would thoroughly recommend his services.   Welding a trailer

  My trailer was warped with cracks in the chassis, so I needed a welder. I found Colin through a Google search. He looked at the photos I sent him and confirmed before visiting that he could repair it. He’s clearly got considerable experience of welding over many years and passionate about what he does. He was also very resourceful in how he repaired it. He hammered it to shape & brought along pieces of metal to strengthen it in a way that I didn’t think of, and I consider it to now be stronger than when it was originally made. He’s also friendly and the pricing very reasonable. Thanks again!

  Balustrade fitting

  We have a steep driveway which gets very slippery and dangerous in ivy weather. Colin at Mobile Welding South came out to have a look. He arrived on time and was very friendly, talking us through the options, advising wherever might be able to save some money. We gave him the go ahead, he didn't ask for money up front. When he came to install it he was very efficient and ensured no waste left on site. We're really pleased with the result and would recommend Colin without hesitation. A true gentleman and great metalworker!
