My guttering needed remedial works as it was bowing and allowing water ingress through my bedroom window. Mac Marchant completed the work when planned, with minimum disruption or mess. Several months, and many storms and heavy downpours later, the new brickwork and guttering continues to work successfully on my 1820's cottage. Thank you!

A site survey was done following a leak to the chimney, and the quote provided was accepted. There was a delay to starting the work due to bad weather, but then went ahead on a sunny dry day. Problems were found with previous tiling work and the ridge tiles had to be replaced and a lot of extra work undertaken to rectify the problem. The roofers were very quick to point out the problems so we could agree next steps, which also involved adding extra scaffolding to allow safe access to the problem areas of the roof. They completed what was a very difficult job in two days just before rain began.

All the way from quote to invoice the communication was superb. There was a very clear description with photos / drawings of the work proposed, and before and after photos to show the completion of the work. The work was carried out in a professional manner, and it looks very robust. We're hoping it finally solves the problem!
