    Superb service

    Alistair replaced a thermostatic cartridge and a carbon monoxide sensor for us recently and his communication was excellent when parts weren’t available. He was quick to reschedule to ensure he could fit us in as soon as possible. He is always very, polite explains everything and is really proactive in making sure you are fully communicated with. I’ve used Alistair for six years for a boiler service now and wouldn’t use anybody else as I know what I’m going to get when it comes to his services. I thoroughly recommend and have done to my friends who live locally.

    Annual Boiler Service

    Alastair has provided an Annual Service over the last few years and answered emergency service assistance when needed Having used other providers previously, we'd ABSOLUTELY not go to anywhere else Alastair is highly professional, excellently mannered, does an outstanding job and above all is more than competitive on price We have recommended Alastair to many others and it says a great deal that all family members now themselves use Alastair for their service and emergency repairs Can absolutely recommend Alastair and Malcolm to anyone looking for any boiler and central heating services

    Alistair Bidwell was very polite and professional, and did a excellent job of servicing our boiler. Alistair had to do his work despite the attempts of our border terrier to distract him. Would thoroughly recommend.

We are a local, reliable, approachable, hardworking and dedicated family-run business. Sharing 70+ years' experience in the gas, plumbing, heating and very recently the air conditioning industries.


Gas safe registered and soon to be REFCOM registered.


Excited to offering domestic air conditioning for your home, home office or man cave from January, in time for another hot summer.


We undertake all aspects of plumbing, from bathrooms/en-suites/ cloakrooms, and installations of kitchen appliances, to tap installations, and dripping taps.


Central heating; from entire central heating system replacements/ boiler breakdowns to heating controls and pump replacements.


LPG/ Natural gas; from gas range/ cooker installation to boiler and gas fire maintenance and servicing, specializing in Vaillant & Glowworm boilers.

Domestic air conditioning installations only.


We are happy to take on insurance work covering leaks and repairs. We offer a same-day/next-day service for genuine emergencies, where possible.


We also provide free quotations, and no job is too small.


Unfortunately, we don't currently hold the correct accreditations to install, service, and maintain oil boilers or solar hot water/ heating systems.


Nor do we work on underfloor heating or install or maintain wall-hung Wc pans, and we can only do domestic work, so no commercial premises.
