Quick response to my request for a service call. When he came Plamen was very helpful and thorough in tracing and identifying the fault with my Elica Dolce cooker hood. When I received the part needed to do the repair he was very quick to come and fit it. Cooker hood now working. Quick and professional repair. Turned up, took £140, left my machine broken, came back, did nothing, said he’d be back with parts, never did. Requested a refund, was promised (not immediately but some days later), refund never came. Overall messed around for 4 weeks, applicable still broken and down £140. Repair guy came New years Eve very promptly . Diagnosed what he thought was the problem (circuit board) got wet . Told me the price which I sent via bank transfer . Part eventually arrived and booked another appointment . Replacement part fitted but still did not work . Was then told I needed another additional circuit board . Again paid for and ordered . 3 weeks later still not arrived and now my calls and texts ignored . Have now spent in excess of £200 in call out fee and parts . Mark did a repair for me in October 2023 and I was very pleased. When I needed a second repair I contacted Mark without hesitation. In June 2024 he diagnosed that my leaking icebox required a new flap for which I paid him £82 in advance. It transpires that this part is no longer available and I assumed that I would get my money back. This has not been the case and since that day Mark has ignored my phone calls, texts and WhatsApp messages leaving me with no alternative but to make this post.Verified reviewerJob location: RM12 Dishwasher repair

Came to fix my dishwasher, took £60 for first appointment, took £87 for a part he said I needed and then disappeared. I still have a broken dishwasher and am £147 out of pocket and checkatrade won't help. Mark initially came and found the fault and I paid him £60. He said that if he couldn't fix it he would return £20 of the £60 paid and if he could fix it, the £60 would cover all future labour. He called later and said that he had found a part and could I pay £87 for it which I did. That was 3 months ago and he hasn't replied to any of my messages apart from to say he had had tooth trouble (?) I have now left it in the hands of checkatrade but I am £147 out of pocket and still have a broken dishwasher which I cannot afford to replace without my money being reimbursed.Verified reviewerJob location: CM18
