  We couldn’t be happier with Matt’s work on our kitchen island! From start to finish, he was professional, meticulous, and truly cared about getting everything perfect. Unlike others, he took the time to visit beforehand, assess the job, and provide a detailed, competitive quote. He checked every unit, kept us informed, and ensured we were happy at every stage. The workspace was spotless when he finished. His attention to detail and commitment to quality were outstanding—we’re already planning more work with him.   Fitted Howden’s kitchen and utility room together with a full bathroom renovation

  Matt was absolutely fabulous to have in our house to carry out work. He was polite, clean, tidy and courteous while also giving practical suggestions that were really appreciated and implemented. All work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard as Matt seems to take great pride in his workmanship. Matt was extremely patient when I decided half way through the kitchen that I wanted the kitchen to be larger which resulted in having to dismantle half of the kitchen he’d already built to add in additional cupboards.   New kitchen, two bathrooms, internal doors, radiators and odd jobs

  We struck gold with Matt from MJS Carpentry Limited, as we moved into a house that needed a lot of refurbishment and he has done a great job throughout. He took on board our ideas and made them a reality, which means we have been able to build a home we love. The craftsmanship is of a very high quality. Quick, efficient, tidy, to price.   Repair to water damaged utility room floor and joists

  Contacted company which was known to me and the proprietor, Matt, came out very quickly to assess the damage and work required. A suitable price was agreed subject to any unseen costs. The job was completed within a week. Would highly recommend this business.

  Multiple - Garden Gates, Internal Doors, Flooring, Skirting

  MJS were employed to carry out multiple jobs at our property including installation of 2x bespoke garden garden gates, installation of 6x internal doors, laying of new LVT click flooring in bedroom, new skirting and architraves to 2x bedrooms and landing, as well as designing and installing a bespoke newel post and making repairs/adjustments to our kitchen.

  Kitchen fitting

  Matt was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. The standard of the work was excellent. As we had low and slightly warped rafters in our kitchen, they overlapped slightly with the trim of the units. Matt cut a notch in the trim which is an absolutely perfect match. The sort of thing only a proper carpenter can manage. He was also an excellent communicator, responding quickly to calls / texts / emails. He also made sensible suggestion and gave advice on how to achieve the best outcome. I have recommended him to my neighbour and would happily use him again for other work.
