The two lads turned up on time and started the job immediately, keeping me informed of what they were doing at each stage and checking I was happy with the work. As this was only a small job most other firms didn’t want the work so I’m glad I came across MJ Roofing.

Thanks to Paul and the guys for fitting us in at short notice. Quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the rotten felt and battens. The 2 guys were hard workers, prompt, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure the problem would not come back again.

I hired Michael for a small job to fix a part of my roof. He was supposed to come round Friday 22nd Nov to take another look at what needed doing (he'd originally looked 3 months earlier and quoted £1500). Instead on the morning of Wednesday 20th he says the scaffolders are coming round to start getting set up and he wasn't bothering to re-check what needed doing. He duly tells them to set up scaffolding on the wrong side of the roof, and then after actually taking a look at the work says it'll be £5500-6000. After I said that's too much and I'll get other quotes he quickly reduces the price

I hired Michael for a small job to fix a part of my roof (that part took two days finishing on a Thursday). He demanded payment before the scaffolding would be taken down, called and messaged me constantly for the payment, said he wouldn't book the scaffolding to be taken down until I paid. I felt the job wasn't done yet, however, I reluctantly paid as he gave me his word it would be done either Friday or Saturday. This never happened and this is when he became almost impossible to contact. On Monday I chase up, he guarantees it'll be done on Tuesday, Tuesday goes by and it's not done. Wednesd

The work to renew a whole roof was started in April 2024 and as such remains unfinished November 2024. My property was damaged throughout the works including a recently installed glass dome, damage to windows and walls. The whole experience has been horrendous I did not think we still had people out there taking hard earned money from people. The job in my opinion was straight forward, replace an existing roof with new, however day after day I complained and still no closer to a new roof.
