Professional friendly service. The exterior wall of the lounge had penetrating damp which had been getting worse. M J Field Damp was recommended by my neighbour. The lads arrived promptly, worked quickly, kept us informed of the progress and left the room clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Martin originally visited our house and showed we had damp in internal walls using a damp meter. He said he suspected the cavity wall insulation was damp and returned a week later and removed a brick where it was obvious the insulation was damp. Martin then provided a quote to remove the insulation from the walls, which we accepted. We were away at the time the work was carried out , but can conform the outside of the house was left very tidy and I had an update from martin on how the work went I returned home. I was very happy with the communications I had with Martin.

Martin explained thoroughly what was causing the problem and what was required to solve it. They undertook the work in a professional, courteous and efficient manner. Very satisfied with the work done and I highly recommend them.

We bought a house and on moving in we noticed quite a few signs of damp. Martin came round to look at it all and thought we had issues but said it might be historical and that after running the central heating and opening windows, things might be better (and we are near the sea so...). We thought this was good of him as he wasn't trying to push us to have a lot of work done. After several months, the house feels much better. Martin came back and said it was much better inside. So we had part of a hall wall sealed (lots of salt damage) and 5 airbricks fitted to help sub floor ventilation.

Martin and Wendy provide an excellent service. They were very patient with us as we delayed the job for more than a year which resulted in Martin having to visit us twice to quote because of the time lapse - but he did this without a fee. On the day of the job Martin was on time, tidy and considerate and finished the work within the time estimated. We recommend giving Martin a call if you have any concerns about woodworm.
