  Pergola installation with thoughtful structural improvements

  We are very pleased with the wooden pergola Mike installed for us. He was reliable, practical and took real care to make the structure strong and stable. He supplied much stronger metal post supports than the small brackets included with the kit and fixed them securely into our concrete base. When he found that the correct drill bit was missing, he immediately went out to buy a new one rather than compromising. We especially appreciated the extra work he put in. He used some of the decorative timber to add diagonal braces for additional structural support, made the remaining pieces into two rows of side rails, and sanded all the cut edges at our request. He also adapted the installation well to our slightly uneven concrete base. The finished pergola looks great and feels very solid. Mike was friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout. We would definitely use him again and would be very happy to recommend him to others.

  Mike responded quickly to my Checkatrade request and came to visit to provide a quote. He understood the brief and helped with some design decisions (architrave etc), later offering a quote by message. He was available soon after to come and do the job and we booked him in. On the day, he was a little late but apologised and I was pleased with his work, which is ready for me to paint. He cleaned up and took away all the waste materials without asking, which was a real bonus and topped things off for me. We had a good laugh and he was easy to get on with.   Laminate Flooring Installation & Bathroom Renovation

  Mihai did an excellent job with my bathroom renovation and laminate flooring installation. I’m very happy with the final results, which met all my expectations. He was friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the project.
