    Do not use! Unreliable let down.

    I booked “Mike & Sons” - although there were no sons to be seen. The name is all an act. He came to my house, was very charming as was his colleague. Sold me the dream and we booked everything in ready to start on the Monday. 9pm on Thursday night he cancelled. When I questioned this and said I was disappointed, his response was “there’s plenty of tradesmen on Facebook”. We have everything booked ready to move into the new house and he let us down at the last minute, while I’m pregnant and have a young toddler. Looking at his reviews it looks like him cancelling did me a favour.

    Mike & Sons - an excellent company to hire.

    Mike was excellent at communication both before and during the work, he adhered to time schedules and was extremely punctual. A really polite and respectful young man. Very good preparation in covering and protecting all surfaces prior to painting, plus cleaning up afterwards. The standard of the work was very high and nothing was too much trouble. His intention is clearly to please his customers. The work was completed in the time he initially assessed. We can definitely recommend Mike & Sons.

    Professional, trustworthy and good price.

    I posted on Check a Trade just over a week ago for a decorator to hang a mural and paint and gloss the living room, along with the stairwell and landing. The job is now done! Every other decorator on the site declined. Mike arrived to give me a quote and I immediately knew he was trustworthy. I am a single, disabled lady so this is very important to me. The quote was a great price too. Mike and his lovely team came and did everything with no fuss, quietly and with complete empathy towards my disability needs in moving things around, What a fantastic job they did. Thank you Mike and team!

    Painting indoors

    Michael very recently painted my living/dining room, Michael was good with communication always texting me with start time or if running late due to traffic etc. Although we had a few hiccups along the way Michael was happy to listen and rectify any problems. I'm happy with my room. Thankyou Michael

    DO NOT USE THIS TRADER

    "Please do not use this company, the most horrendous workmanship and didn't do any of the work we agreed on. I've had to have painters in to give me a quote to correct his work & they thought I had done the work myself as it's that bad , nothing was sanded down , ceilings were not painted in fact he only cut in the ceiling once walls were painted and just the edges , he wallpaper my bedroom and my grandchildren could have done a better job , it has been heartbreaking for me as it's the first and last time I will never use him."
