    Painting 2 large bedrooms

    Mike and Z were able to come quickly and were very reliable. They put on at least 2 coats of emulsion and a nice silk sheen on the paintwork. They were critical of their own work and keen that we were satisfied at all points. Mike is a very pleasant guy to have in the house. They also helped me put up 2 curtain rails which was not in the original quote. .We happily paid for this work too. The original Quote for the work was very reasonable and they left the house tidy each day. I am thrilled with the quality of their work. They brought quality paint I would definitely use them again.

    Painter and decorator

    Michael and his team have completed painting my whole 4 bedroom house 2 receptions kitchen and bathroom all the walls and gloss work were painted. They worked efficiently and finished and completed the job. We are very pleased with the outcome. Excellent service.

    Do not use! Unreliable let down.

    I booked “Mike & Sons” - although there were no sons to be seen. The name is all an act. He came to my house, was very charming as was his colleague. Sold me the dream and we booked everything in ready to start on the Monday. 9pm on Thursday night he cancelled. When I questioned this and said I was disappointed, his response was “there’s plenty of tradesmen on Facebook”. We have everything booked ready to move into the new house and he let us down at the last minute, while I’m pregnant and have a young toddler. Looking at his reviews it looks like him cancelling did me a favour.

    Mike & Sons - an excellent company to hire.

    Mike was excellent at communication both before and during the work, he adhered to time schedules and was extremely punctual. A really polite and respectful young man. Very good preparation in covering and protecting all surfaces prior to painting, plus cleaning up afterwards. The standard of the work was very high and nothing was too much trouble. His intention is clearly to please his customers. The work was completed in the time he initially assessed. We can definitely recommend Mike & Sons.
