As a single lady I am always a bit aware of trades people. I put a post on Checker trader and Miguel was the only one to respond. It was a small job, but I thought there must be a catch here. He turned up on time and was happy smiley with a can-do attitude. I can’t explain what a real profession he is .. I get trades people who think you are a woman and dumb. His work is amazing I am so pleased I can’t rate him enough. He did an amazing job and was again so lovey but respectful. They were helpful, ‘human’ - offered practical advice and did everything they said they were going to do. Arrangements for picking up and dropping off the chest and for payment were easy and the finished article made me very happy indeed. An incredibly neglected and stained chest now looks glowing and in great shape. I like that they share the founding and background of the company on their website too. Very happy to recommend them.

Thorough work carried out to a high standard

Miguel was very efficient, professional, friendly, polite and well educated in his trade. Miguels communication was excellent and always kept me updated on the progress of his work. I was over the moon when I got my bureau back, can not believe its the same piece of furniture. It was all wonky and broken, paint work was damaged and chipped, most people would have just binned it, but all thanks to Miguel I have a beautiful like new bureau in my favourite colour. From miguel collecting it from my home and returning the beautifully finished item it took around 4 weeks. Amazing workmanship.

Fantastic experience with this company - Miguel was really helpful and responsive to queries, desk was collected and returned in good time, and we are really pleased with the results. A rather faded Victorian desk now has a new lease of life and looks beautiful. All in all, a great experience and would definitely recommend this company.
