Michael has been polite, friendly and professional from quoting to completion of the job. He kept in touch leading up to starting the job, providing graphics to give us an idea of what the finished job would look like and to ensure the spec was correct. The job was done within the time he had estimated. Michael was always punctual and left the area where he was working clean and tidy each day. We are extremely happy with the work that Michael did. It is of a very high standard and I would definately use Michael James Carpentry again.

Michael has done a number of carpentry jobs in the house including building bespoke fitted cabinets in living room and hallway. This time he fitted beading onto the walls throughout the hall, stairs and landing (managing all the weird and wonderful shapes) so that it now looks like we have amazing panelling! I adore it and Michael used his professional judgement throughout to make sure the outcome was of the highest standard. A huge thank you from us to Michael - he is always a pleasure to deal with - and we will definitely be calling on his carpentry skills again in the future!

Michael was friendly and professional to deal with from when he arrived to measure up and when he came back to do the job. He had the wardrobe built and installed into place quickly with minimal disruption to the bedroom. I was impressed with his attention to detail and care over the design - he went over different options with me to ensure I was maximising the space. I also really appreciated how neat and tidy he was, you can tell he really cares about his work and was respectful of the environment he was working in! I will definitely be getting Michael back for future jobs.
