He ‘completed’ the job, I paid in full and later found out the roof was not done which delayed the other work.
He came round to inspect, blamed me for the error and wanted more money. I said that wasn’t fair, I’m not a roof expect and that would make him 4 times more expensive an other quotes.
He stormed out and hasn’t replied to any messages since.
Would aviod unless you want to be ripped off for half a job done

I quoted to repair the tiles around a velux window which the customer excepted my quote and i then carried out the repairs which he was very happy with. A week to 10 days later i received a phone call from the customer saying that the solar panel installers had broken tiles and some had slipped down the roof which was in a completely different part of the roof from my repairs. I advised him to get the solar panel installers to repair the damage they had caused because I would invoice him again. He wanted me to repair the roof for free even though another trade caused the damage.
