Mike and Joe from MGS Joinery did an absolutely brilliant job installing our wooden, double-glazed, heritage-style sash windows. So brilliant that we booked them straight after for some further windows to be installed. We can't praise them too highly. Their workmanship is excellent. The windows look excellent and have raised the temperature of my study and bathroom by several degrees, eliminating the previous slight damp issue through trickle vents. Michael and his team were punctual, conscientious, thoughtful and clearly cared a great deal about doing a good job. They kept me very well updated throughout. Any issues were dealt with well and in good time. Mike is a rare find after speaking with several companies we decided to go ahead with Mike to replace the sashes in our 4 windows. He quoted for the work and was patient while we were waiting for our planning permission to be approved. The quality of his workmanship is excellent and he is very knowledgeable. He started and finished exactly when he said he would. The job was not rushed and he took the time to get everything right and answer any questions we had. We are a small carpentry and joinery company based in North East London. Our main area of skill and expertise is in the manufacture and installation of timber made sash and casement windows. With over 25 years experience in both the private and public sector, working within the parameters of Listed Building Consent and Conservation Area rules and regulations.
Services we provide...
- Timber painted sash and casement windows - all shapes and sizes with single or double glazed units. We can repair, restore or renew and will always advise on the best possible way to keep as much of an original installation as possible. Not only to reduce cost but also from a conservation perspective
- Front doors - non-standard bespoke joinery doors, made to measure hardwood and softwood painted
- Timber gates - made to measure and finished stained or painted
