  Inspecting and repairing damp timber floorboards in living room

  MGM were very good at communicating before the work, were on time, very polite, and kept us informed about what they discovered in the damp inspection, and their proposals to fix it. Their final invoice was below the initial estimate, and they detailed exactly where they had made savings. Highly recommended!

  Window and door fitting

  Martin was recommended by a friend and he did not disappoint. He removed a back door and replaced it with a window that needed the opening to be made larger. Nothing was too much trouble and he managed to complete the job a day earlier than expected. A job well done.

  Securing masonry at front of the house

  I was extremely impressed by the service that Martin and his team provided. Unfortunately there was a degree of work that was not foreseeable at the start - but there was clear communication provided during the process, and the opportunity to ask questions for clarity. The work was undertaken courteously - as they worked to ensure as little disruption was caused as possible; and they were extremely clean and tidy throughout. I would have welcomed using a different method of communication other than email for the more urgent matters - but all else was without fault.

  Rising damp

  Had the damp in our hallway repaired. Replace floor. Tanked walls and replastered and sealed door. Would highly recommend. Professional, friendly and reliable and work carried out to an excellent standard and a good price.

  Converting garage into guest room/ office with en suite

  We are delighted with the work carried out by M G Mitchell and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The work involved building, roofing, plumbing, plastering, decorating, laying floor and electrics and was all finished to the highest standard. Communication and organisation throughout was excellent and service was consistently friendly, polite, punctual and tidy. We're very happy with the end result and look forward to using Mitchells for future projects!
