Barry got straight back to me. I sent him photos of my table which had water damage and he gave me a quote really quickly. The table was collected the following day and was returned within 3 working days. Welcome to Messengers French Polishing. We are a company of highly qualified French Polishers covering London, Kent, the South East and Home Counties. We provide a full range of wood finishing from traditional polishing to the latest lacquers and spray finishes, furniture and flooring restoration.
Barry Messenger has over 30 years’ experience, having carried out an apprenticeship with Trollope & Colls. He attended the renowned London College of Furniture where he attained City and Guilds qualifications.
Barry has worked for several French polishing companies in London and established his own business over the past 5 years with great success and has worked in prestigious venues across the country and abroad.

Flooring
We offer a complete service, supplying and fitting engineered, solid wood, reclaimed and laminate flooring or a product of your choice.
Our restoration service covers all aspects from sanding, repairing replacing damaged areas, colour matching and finishing to your specification
Our sanding machinery are designed to create minimum dust.
Restoration
Includes all types of wood furniture from pianos to boardroom tables, chairs, sideboards, panelling, doors, frames, skirting, kitchens.
Full hotel, public houses, museums restaurants, office buildings and private houses refurbishment.
We also offer a maintenance service for ongoing repairs.
Staircases and handrails
We can strip old finishes and stain to required colour and finish with traditional French polishing waxing or lacquering
