Richard is always very professional and friendly. He fixed our lean-to and re-built our wardrobes to our specifications. This is our second time using his services, after he built our loft conversion, thoroughly recommend.

Richard hung 6 doors and we couldn't be more pleased. From the initial visit he was very helpful and made sure we got the right products for the job. Turned up when he said he would and even managed to dodge the rain to get the work done!

All work was carried out on time and to a high standard. Richard was very flexible , adding in extra jobs that came to light and needed doing, requiring an extra half day. Everywhere was left clean and I would definitely recommend him to others

We used Richard Mepham as our main contractor in a major development project on a recently purchased house. This involved taking down internal walls, creating new rooms and a building a new ensuite bathroom. We cannot speak too highly of his work. He is highly skilled, totally professional and so helpful as new problems were encountered as the project was being implemented. As well as his own work, he coordinated the work of multiple trades so well that the complicated project was completed to our total satisfaction. We would always use Richard again for any new work .

Richard was brilliant. He helped advise, source and fit skirting boards throughout my hall and landing. We have an old house where nothing is level but Richard still managed to do a great job. He also built a fixed shelving unit, and tidied up the stairs - all to my specifications. Richard is punctual, polite and professional. I will most certainly be using him for future projects! In the dystopian world of jobsworths, chancers, and ripoff-merchants that is Post-Covid Britain, Richard is an absolute godsend and revelation. He’s not only a great carpenter who does exceptional work at a fair price, he’s also just a cool, interesting, pleasant guy. I’m afraid to write a review saying how good his work is as he’ll get too many clients and I won’t be able to get him anymore, but he deserves a good review.
