  From first contact, when Mike actually returned our telephone call and arranged to visit us, to completion. Mike has been knowledgeable, was able to source exactly what we were looking for, competent, professional and friendly. We are very pleased with the finished result, it looks great, the work has been carried out to a high standard, within the timescale we were given and within budget. We have already asked Mike to quote us for additional work and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

  Mike’s workmanship was excellent, a job really well done. He is a delightful man talkative in a good way. I would have no problem recommending Mike in fact he will hopefully, be coming back to do more work for me in the near future.

  Plastering over Artex Ceiling

  Fitting new front door, new door sills and weatherboards front and back door

  Mike responded promptly to my request for a quote and providing me with a quote (which is more than I can say for other tradesmen I've contacted through Checkatrade). He conferred with me about details, completed the work efficiently in one day, did exactly what I'd asked for, and cleared up after himself. He was polite and courteous throughout, hard-working and honest, and I will definitely call him again if I need any more carpentry done.

  Replacing rotten joists and laying a new floor

  Mike is a top recommend. He came up with a great plan to not only fix our joists but to prevent them from future rot. He then laid a new wooden floor paying attention to the mixed shades of wood to ensure it looked the part. As a result we’ve asked him for more help.
