  Don't waste your time.

  Thankfully I will never be using M Carey Property Services again. I employed Mark & Steve to complete some work to my house renovation. A job which was quoted 5 days to complete, I am now 4 weeks into this 5 days schedule, I'd finally had enough and got another builder to complete the work. Terribly run company from start to finish. Working a few days then asking for more money, not ordering my steels when I provided the money for them (creating delays) Radio silence on several occasions, just not turning up when they said they would be there. No Communication on when they would be back.

  Fitted a gate

  Mark was working down the road on another property, so I gave him a call to see if he could fit a gate for us. He came round within a couple of hours, talked me through what needed doing in detail, sent me through an invoice and then came round the next day to carry out the work. Brilliant work, communication and really reliable.

  Knocked down some old, steep, outside stairs, replacing them with wider, shallower steps.

  It was a pleasant experience having Mark and his family working on my steps at the front of my flat. They were no trouble. I can get up and down now with no trouble whereas before I had to come down sideways and it was a nightmare with shopping.

  Resin bound driveway clean

  Driveway had developed substantial moss. M.Carey Property Services were hired to remove moss, jet wash driveway and reseal the resin bound surface. Initial contact, quotation, and work were done in good time, and the job appeared fine. Invoice paid same day. However, the moss returned within 2 months which should not have happened. Contacted M.Carey Property Services after the Xmas break to let him know and that the work would need to be re-done. This work was promised to be done, but despite numerous exchanges over nine months (!) this has not been done and it is clear it won't. Please avoid.

  Fencing to front and rear garden

  I was in need of a hedge being removed and replaced with a fence in the back garden and habe the front garden fenced too along with the patio being redone. The weather was extremely wet which caused the job to be delayed, but the guys worked through some of the rain and got the job done. Everything was very muddy, but they cleaned up afterwards. The guys were friendly and explained what they were doing. Communication was great too. I am happy with the work they did.

  Close board fence

  Mark and his team did a brilliant job; first to remove the rotten old fence totally covered in ivy; then installed a 12 panel close board fence with concrete posts and gravel boards. It looks fantastic. They cleared all the old material and left everything nice and tidy. Highly recommend
