    Toilet cistern fixed

    Highly recommend Matthews Heating & Plumbing. Danny came out and fixed my toilet cistern quickly and professionally. He did a fantastic job, was very friendly, a lovely young lad who got everything working again perfectly. Great local service, will definitely use them again and recommend them to family and friends. First class.

    Proper family - Proper Plumbers

    Unfortunately Checkatrade does have a high percentage of supposed "tradespeople" but they certainly not reliable, interested in most of jobs, they show they "interested in", a simple plumbing job, fitting a replacement tap. I had 10 interested, only 3 actually contacted me, Mathews Plumbing & Heating were one, Dave Mc agreed next day, then said he couldn't after seeing job, it was a tap, and then blocked me from messaging him. So Georgie arranged visit a when they could come, Danny came did the job quick tidy no issues, and a decent price, so my new Plumber is now Mathews. Thanks Tom

    Issues with flush and taps

    Craig is the consummate professional! It was such a relief to see him and his team divide up our long-existing plumbing issues and within half an hour everything was rectified and for a very reasonable price. Absolutely brilliant service! Thank you Craig and sons.

    Fixing and unblocking the shower drain

    Craig was friendly and professional when he came to look at the job to give us the very reasonable quote and returned later the same day when he completed the work in less than 20 minutes. He fixed and unblocked the drain and we couldn’t be more pleased to have the shower in use again. Thank you Craig for your excellent service,! 😀

Craig (Dad)started this business in 2007(The business founder) as a solo gas fitter and heating and plumbing engineer, and as the years went on, he recruited his Son Callum in 2010, who has gained his qualified gas fitter and heating and plumbing engineer. The two worked together until Sam (Craig’s wife) joined the business in 2016 to help with the administration of the business. Following this, a few years later, his other son, Danny, started as an apprentice in 2020 and has gone on to gain his full qualification as a plumbing and heating engineer. Finally, in 2022, his daughter, Georgie, joined the family business to also assist with the admin side of things. We now work happily as a small local family business with over 35 years of experience.
