More attention to detail needed

Left a positive review soon after the painting was finished, but now that I've lived with it and looked closer, I see that attention to detail was poor. Job finished very quickly and I can now see why.

High quality workmanship, an excellent job

Martin decorated our hallway, stairs and landing, lounge and kitchen. Every wall has been expertly finished to a high standard, working around over 50m of oak. He took time and care with any small repairs to the plaster. We are delighted with the quality of his work. Highly trustworthy, clean and tidy and well priced workman.

accepted the job and understood the expectations and required. Freshly plastered walls and ceilings with brand new coving in some areas. Week 1 - started very keen and updated us with progress although very short days. Week 2 - fell behind from week 1, although reassured us not to worry as the job would be completed in the time frame.Again; very short days. Week 3 - drastically falling behind and questioned price of materials that we’d been charged for as no proof of purchases could be given. Week 4, enthusiasm gone and work unfinished. Martin left job unfinished and paid in full 7k plus

I was doing as much as I can each day once the walls and ceiling were painted I had to wait for paint to dry. Most of the rooms the walls were not plastered so had to fill need to leave overnight to dry. Also there were other trades in rooms in the way.
