Nick responded quickly to my garage conversion proposal with a competitive quote, and we quickly were able to discuss the job and agree a date to carry the work out. He and his colleague were both pleasant and punctual on the work days. We ran into some issues around communication, with a misunderstanding of the parameters of the project resulting in an initial mistake with the work. There was also a slight issue afterwards with the finishing of the brickwork, which Nick was happy to come back and rectify. Despite a few setbacks, we are pleased with the final result.

Nick responded very fast to our request for a quote and delivered exactly what he promised. He communicated clearly, arrived bang on time and completed the job to our satisfaction. It was a pleasure to deal with him and we would certainly recommend his services.

Nick did great job of removing a 9 inch thick concrete lintel and replacing it so a taller door could be fitted. It took him all day to break it out! I’m looking forward to Nick coming back to do more work at the property.

Nick is a reliable and friendly builder who came to my house to look at the job when we agreed and he kept to his word in terms of the price for the job as well as arrival times etc. He also arranged for a plasterer, who was also reliable and efficiently completed the work to a good standard. I am happy that the work was completed within the given timeframe and I appreciated how Nick discussed the stages of the work with me.

We hired Markham Building contractors who are local to us and Nick came. He is a really nice guy and it took him no time at all to take down a garden wall 13 square metres in size by hand and take away the rubble. We also wanted to keep a row or two of bricks to make a shorter wall with some more bricks on top to finish it off. This was no trouble for him he went twice to get the items needed to the builders merchants and put the finishing pieces to the wall. The wall now looks really good and much better than it did before. Nick is a really hard working and friendly guy we would use again.
