  Raft foundation, soak away and hard landscaping

  Installed a raft foundation with steel ring beam all in line with the structural engineer design. When we discovered an unforeseen problem with a drainage pipe upon dig out they quickly came up with a cost effective solution. All passed off by building control with no issues whatsoever. Also installed a radon sump underneath the raft. Later came back to install the soakaway and create all the new pathways to the extension. The guys were really good, polite and courteous to the neighbouring properties throughout. All in all, really pleased and would highly recommend.

  Foundations for new extension

  Highly recommend Mike and Tom and the lads - they were brought in to excavate footings, pour concrete and build up to the DPM. The work was carried out efficiently, fast and with no worries - along with arranging the removal of the earth to be taken away, they cleaned and power washed the site down after finishing - a great bunch of guys who were and kind and courteous but also had a laugh! Would thoroughly recommend them to anyone, and hoping to use again for our next project when funds allow!!

  Domestic groundworks

  Impressed with initial consultation, but not the job - to remove a leaking stoptap from under my patio and re-route a new main into the house. The spec included ‘installation of 2m water pipe’ and ‘making good of patio area’. In the event, the plumber I employed separately ended up fitting the pipe. Also I had to replace two patio slabs myself. When I requested a small deduction (£92) to cover my extra costs, I received a call telling me the job had been done to spec. They were well rewarded for less than two days’ work and I should have had better service.

  30m2 patio and 3m retaining wall

  MAK carried out a difficult job very confidently with a no-hassle approach, nothing was a problem and any issues that came up they had already thought of a solution to. All the workers were polite and courteous, and they kept all areas tidy and neat. They also went out of their way to keep in contact with our neighbours as access was tricky to our property and required using their driveway. Very impressed with them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

  New drainage for new bathroom

  Mike and team are very knowledgable about what needed doing. We did have initial plans for the work that needed to be done but after Mike investigated the situation, he was able to advise, amend plan and save us money. Thanks so much.
