  Brick replacement, Repointing and treatment

  I am very satisfied with the repointing, brickwork and storm seal treatment done by Magnus construction. It was very important to me to have someone who took pride in their work. Oliver expained he treats every property with care and carries out the work to a high standard as if it was his own home. This was evident throughout, he was very knowledgeable, he chose bricks to match in really well with the original and took due care. Oliver kept me updated throughout, we had to sometimes wait for some better weather. I would not hesitate to use this company again if I need anything else doing.

  Pointing.

  Very professional and punctual. Job completed to a high spec. Very tidy - the team ensured everything was tidy before they left each day. Accommodated the scaffolding which was already in situ for new windows being fitted following on from the pointing being completed.

  A good, reliable firm.

  Definitely recommend. My house is around 400 years old and some of the stonework was in poor condition. The only access to the wall I needed pointing was through a neighbour’s garden, making it complicated. Oliver and Wes were able to make this uncomplicated. They knew exactly what materials were needed for this type of property and kept me informed throughout the job. It was an excellent job and they left the area very tidy - so happy neighbour. The job came in exactly as quoted, which was important to me. I will definitely want them to do another wall for me in the future.

  Pointing house, fitting new fascia, guttering and drain pipe

  We had a very good experience with Magnus Construction, from start to finish. They were punctual and reliable, turning up when they said they would, both for the initial quote and throughout the job itself. They were friendly, professional, and easy to deal with, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The quality of the work was excellent, and they kept the space clean and tidy throughout, which we really appreciated. Communication was great too—they were always easy to contact and quick to respond if we had any questions or concerns. We would certainly use them again.

  Full repointing of period property

  Oliver and Wes were reliable and courteous throughout. The standard of their work and their attention to detail is exceptional. They were so loving to my dogs which I've never usually found with workmen, and by the end my dogs had fallen in love with them haha. They went above and beyond, having to work around other shoddy workmanship left by others. I would definitely use them again, and can highly recommend

  Grinding out, re-pointing, storm seal, damp proof course

  Start to finish the work was carried out to a high standard and met my expectations of their work from the reviews I’d read on this site. Important to me was that the work was fairly priced. Oliver and Wes were professional, polite and respectful. I would have no hesitation in contacting them in the future for any additional building work I may need.
