I contacted the plumber for a radiator leak on the weekend and paid the weekend emergency rate (£150+VAT per hour)
He stated the repair was complete and charged me £184.50
Shortly afterwards,the same leak reappeared.
I reported this immediately. He returned,“tightened”the area again, and the leak continued. He then claimed it required a new pipe and attempted to charge a further £80+VAT,despite this being the same unresolved fault. When I questioned this,he stated I was “not entitled to a refund” became increasingly hostile, and made the following remark:“Do you have a lot of learning disabilities
Response from M.A.F Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services Limited
We are disappointed to receive such an inaccurate review. You contacted us urgently about water leaking through your ceiling and no heating or hot water. We found a dripping radiator valve, replaced it, refilled the system, and restored heating and hot water. When leaks reoccurred, we promptly returned, fixing a separate boiler leak at no cost and tightening pipes despite no visible leaks. We clearly explained that pipe replacement would cost £80. After repeated claims and accusations, we politely advised you to seek another company.
