We had a really bad experience and had been left dangling by a previous contractor for 3 months. The Macdonalds team came in and totally transformed our garden, fixed the mammoth botch job and erected a timber gazebo in 2 days. Really friendly father and son business. Their squad never let up and the workmanship is outstanding. So relieved and happy. Thank you so much.

Very professional, explained everything in detail, open and honest. The team have loads of experience. I was very impressed with the professional finish to the roof. It was done safely and on time. I highly recommend this company.

We got them round to fit some bird spikes. This job was satisfactory. However, we were offered complimentary photographs of our roof which I accepted, but despite me giving plenty of time for this before leaving this review, these never materialised. This was 3 months ago. This is basic. Either say no pictures were taken, or send them through as was promised. Personally I think we were overcharged too, but this is on us. I've just remembered, a few bird spikes were left lying around the chuckies which was not good as we have a toddler who was walking around and could have been quite hurt.

I contacted checkatrade and received a phone call from MacDonalds roofing asking if they could come and assess the situation. They arrived Saturday as agreed and after inspection verbally gave a quote for repairs and a start time They arrived Monday forenoon and started removing defective material, they replaced defective slates, tiles and ridge tiles and cleaned up the area collecting all the broken material for disposal. They acted professionally in a pleasant manner, and carried out some work not covered in the quotation at no extra expense. I recommend them and will use them again

George from Macdonald Roofing & Building recently redid the cement haunching on top of my chimney, and I couldn't be happier with the service. George was very nice, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. The work was done efficiently and to a high standard. I highly recommend them!
