Laurie repaired our stairs so well, no creaks now ! Very professional and helpful .

Laurie is very professional, trustworthy and detail-oriented. He’s helped us over the last three days with carpentry and hanging heavy items (including two mirrors). He’s brilliant to have around the house and makes sure we’re happy with everything.

Laurie was wonderful and friendly. What he explained and quoted was exactly what he did and we are so happy with the work. Laurie also works and leaves a very neat and clean workspace. Thank you Laurie, we are so much warmer.

Laurie installed a vintage wooden 4 poster oak bed. Laurie arrived on time, punctual, helpful and polite tradesman. Laurie came across a few problems and resolved these and communicated with me very well to keep me in the loop and explained how he repaired and carried out the job. He carried out the job to such a high standard. I would recommend L York carpentry and will continue to book Laurie for future work.

Laurie did a great job, the work was carried out to a high standard. He identified & communicated areas which could affect the works early and ensured the job was in line with what the floor fitters would need, ensuring a seamless transition for them coming in. He was quick to respond, flexible on timings and the whole process was professional and very smooth. If you are looking for a truly reliable carpenter, Laurie is your man. We will be using him going forward for all our carpentry works for sure.
