  Made new stair case

  Mike came and helped me decide how I wanted my staircase as I wanted something a little bit different to traditional stairs , I wanted it to be a big feature in my living room as you walk in , I was nervous on how it would look as I hadn’t seen it done before but mike has a good eye for detail and is a perfectionist at his job. I’m pleased to say when he had finished I was more than happy with my stairs they look amazing

  Staircase replacement

  Use with caution. We had a spiral staircase replacement with two major issues: 1- quality of finish. We were recommend material based on our desired look and finish (example picture shared). What was initially fitted for the handrail was 2x4 internal build timber which was rough unplaned wood with markings left on. this was only rectified & replaced at a significant extra cost & stress to us (all while I was 8 months pregnant!) 2 - apparently fitting a staircase didn't include covering the messy rough underneath as part of the 'make good' he said he'd do...who would want this on display?

  I suggested a wood more than suitable for the job, cheaper than oak to keep the cost down, which you agreed to and I have messages to prove this. You then changed your mind and wanted oak, before I had even sanded each piece of timber to give the finish you wanted. Oak is a significantly more expensive wood, hence the significant increase in cost. What did you expect? Expensive wood costs more money!! As for the underside of the staircase, I am a joiner- not a plasterer! It was never agreed I would plaster the underside of the staircase. You mentioned having trouble with other trades in the past and now it’s clear why. Thank you for your unfair and exaggerated review!

  Replacement of porch post

  So pleased with Lyons Joinery Ltd from start to finish. We had a rotting, unstable wooden porch post that needed replacing and they were able to sort it so quickly. We’re thinking of some bespoke fitted shelves/ kitchen corner bench in the future and we will definitely be using Lyons Joinery Ltd.

  Joinery work on bespoke staircase, Skirting in bedrooms

  Great work creating a bespoke staircase with great intricate detailing. The company squeezed me into their very busy schedule and not only saved the day, but also executed a hight quality of work making my staircase and bedrooms even better than I planned. The quality of joinery is the best I've seen over the many projects I've done. If your looking for a great customer service coupled with high quality work, look no further. I have to say thank you for everything and I will be looking forward to calling again for any work needed. It was a joy to come across such lovely people. Thanks again.
