Very disappointed after a previous gd experience with how Irvin behaved & reacted towards me. Wanted the remaining money before completing job because of his cash flow. I refused & asked he finishes job. He agreed & gave me a date. He then took offence & was rude & threatening when asked if he’d used marine ply & if he’d accidentally returned my tool he’d taken by mistake with his older one. Broken splinters of glass were left on the floor outside shed. He broke 4yr old roof felt & wanted to charge me £100 for replacing this. Ply going mouldy where not painted; refused to return & finish job.

Irv installed a piece of skirting and completed small-scale painting that was outstanding after our new kitchen was installed at the end of last year our kitchen and also put a new washing line post and reel in our garden.

Really pleased with the work carried out. Irv is polite, cheerful, helpful with ideas, conscious of giving good value and really hard working. He was very punctual each day and communicated well with his plans, timings and always checked in with us, to make sure we were happy. Good standard of workmanship and respectful of our home... preparing and protecting the area well and tidying up afterwards! Thank you for a great service!

Irv provided a lot of advice during the process to select fittings for our new kitchen as we were very unsure what was required, and provided a full estimate of equipment and labour costs which were very reasonable. He took great care during the strip out and refit process, and went more than the extra mile for us on many occasions. We're planning to get Irv to do some extra work in the house early next year.

Irv has done a lot of work with us over the last 8yrs, all starting with a full house renovation for a property we bought to sell on. From there we asked him to do our own kitchen (knocked out a wall, painted, installed units) because we were delighted with his work ethic and skill. He is very knowledgable, adaptable and solution-focused. Best of all, his prices are fair and we have always found him to be honest. If he can’t do something, he gets us someone who can. Would highly recommend and we plan to keep using his services for all our building needs.

Had an outstanding experience with Irv. Had to take out a window and replace with a fire door in our office. Arrived early and ready to go each day and went above and beyond and suggested things we hadn’t thought off. Also helped out by doing additional works that wasn’t expected (installed an additional small window at no extra charge). He ended up painting all of our downstairs office and done a fantastic job all around. We have now found a long term handy man to be helping with all general property maintenance!
