In short, the worst experience I have ever had with a tradesman. I implore you to avoid using at all cost. The quality was terrible, the mess and damage they made to my property cost me more to rectify than the price for decorating. They tried to rip me off when they came as ‘they didn’t realise’ it was two rooms and not one even though it was evident from the photos they priced from. They arrived a week later than they said and worked 10:30 until 14:00 everyday and in the end because of the experience I told them to stop and employed someone else. They damaged my property.

Very good experience with Dominik; pays good attention to edge work, came back to clean up after the job. multiple coats of paint to cover darker walls turned out really nice. some small edges missing and a couple of edge smeers and paint spatter that wasn't cleared up from others in his team, but overall a very good and clean job. Two walls stripped of wallpaper, even painted behind boiler pipes without a problem. Took down curtains and light fittings to paint beneath them before putting them back (after paint dried). Very open communication and managed to fit in appointment very quickly, time management could use a little work (postponed appointment by a day, postponed clean down by a day, and was abiunf 15-30 minutes after expected time) but did everything as promised. I would definitely hire again for home jobs.

Luxe Renovations and Decorators were fantastic! They came out on such short notice and got the work competed to a high standard asap. The came on Sunday at 4pm to price up, started work straight away which included re-decoration of one room, taking wallpaper down and filling the walls followed by redecoration of another and finally re-decoration of the living room including filling of holes. This was completed by Wednesday after allowing appropriate drying time of the plaster etc. Communication remained clear throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Dominik and Crew!

Disappointed, used trade paint, promised dulux and bathroom. No undercoat used on glossing wood, so poor coverage and peeled with contact.

Nice guys at first, told me they would use Dulux and bathroom paint, but used 1 coat of white trade paint everywhere. No undercoat painted on existing woodwork prior, just glossed straight over gloss , so new gloss peeled in some places on contact, such as when fitting new carpets and the doorframe. Paint on light fittings, carpet and furniture. Patches missed (pics taken after ‘revisit to correct snags’) I accept that using tools to fit carpet can scuff the skirting. Surely using an undercoat first would leave a better finish and harder surface, which is what I expected.

Luxe Decorators did a fantastic job skimming my 5-bedroom house. They painted all the ceilings white and painted the skimmed walls in Farrow & Ball 'Skimmed Stone'. The finish is absolutely perfect. They are great, hardworking guys highly recommend!
