Job: Repairing a water damaged kitchen ceiling - repairing, plastering and painting. Liam responded quickly to my initial request through Checkatrade. He contacted me in advance to arrange a time to visit, and arrived on time. Care was taken to cover all surfaces, wall cupboards and appliances prior to repairing and plastering the ceiling. Allowing time for the plaster to dry, Liam returned the following week to paint the ceiling. Care was taken again to cover all surfaces. We recently hired L Simpkin Plastering to skim several ceilings throughout our home, and the results are outstanding. The original artex has been completely removed, and the finish is now perfectly smooth – we’re genuinely impressed with the quality of the work. Liam and his team were professional from start to finish. He arrived promptly to quote and was extremely helpful, even recommending a scaffolder to accommodate our high, vaulted ceilings.
