Rod came to my rescue last week when I had a leak in my upstairs ceiling and my so-called home emergency insurance were “unable to find a plumber” and left me stranded with no water because the stopcock had to be turned off. He arrived really soon after I’d contacted him, so he must have left other work for my emergency. After spending about an hour in the loft moving insulation and checking all the hidden pipework to find the problem, he went straight off to get the required parts for repair and fitted them. Rod is an excellent tradesman. He is punctual, keeps me informed throughout each job, and always leaves everything clean and tidy. Nothing is ever too much hassle. Where others are defeated, Rod consistently comes up with solutions to tricky problems. We use Living Edge whenever we need any work doing to our house. Rod and his team are super reliable and always deliver to a really high standard. Recently his team installed a shower in our bathroom. Our house is a very old cottage so presents some tricky decisions at times. Throughout the bathroom work, Rod was able to help us weigh up the pros and cons each time to give us the reassurance we needed. Resulting in a new, beautifully-tiled shower. Living Edge has done several jobs for me in the last few months. Some relatively small but very valuable to me, and some much bigger. Each time they have given me a quotation for the work and stuck to it. Work carried out quickly and professionally and workmen very cheerful and helpful. Fitted a new shower and ventilation vent, repainted the whole front of the house and fitted a Velux window in a loft bedroom. Very pleased.
