Robert did a very professional job of boxing in several areas of new central heating pipes. All woodwork finished to an extremely high standard including painting. I would highly recommend him.

Choosing a tradesperson can always be a bit daunting but Robert has been brilliant. The quality of the work is fantastic and he approaches the job as if it’s his own property making adjustments and advising on other fixes as he went along. He wouldn’t leave a job until he was very happy with it. Workmanship aside Robert also came when he said he would and always left his workspace nice and tidy at the end of everyday. I have already recommended him to my family and will have him back if we ever have any more jobs that need doing.

Understood what was needed and priced for all work necessary

Needed solid wood front door repaired or replaced. Robert made a few suggestions and we ultimately decided to go with repair. Nice finish, and very pleased with the outcome as pictured.

As repeat work, I asked Robert to to change some spindles on the stairs and landing as I hadn’t found time to do it. I am very glad I did because loads of dodgy issues from the 1960’s build appeared. Robert methodically worked through all the awkward fixes, asking what I wanted at each step. Amazing attention to detail. Stairs were a bit wobbly before, now rock solid and looking much better. Really pleased with the updated stairs.

Robert is an excellent carpenter and a pleasure to work with. He listened carefully to what we wanted and provided sound advice on the pros and cons of a range of options to fit stained glass into a vintage door. The finished door looks fabulous thanks to his skill, expertise and dedication. He even worked all day Saturday to get it finished in time. We are delighted with the door and I would highly recommend Let Carpentry.
