After many unsuccessful attempts to seek quotations from several uninspiring contractors - who either ‘failed to understand’ or appeared ‘incapable of carrying out’ the work to my specific requirements, I was pleased to receive a very encouraging visit from LBW Joinery & Building. Stuart knew exactly what was needed and demonstrated that he had both a clear understanding and the knowledge of how best to proceed.
Previously unforeseen problems were resolved once work had begun. Works are still ongoing but progress, so far has met, if not exceeded, expectations.

New kitchen

We've used LBW for lots of different jobs in the house including levelling and laying floors, joinery, taking down a chimney, reconfiguring internal walls and most recently fitting a kitchen which included taking out structural beams and replacing with RSJ and pitching the previously flat roof.
Stuart and Dave are fantastic! We can't recommend highly enough and we keep coming back to them. Their work is high quality and Stuart has great attention to detail. They are very respectful of your property ensuring floors are protected and is left clean and tidy.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Stuart was recommended by our neighbour who had a similar job done. From our first meeting we knew he was the man for the job. They were able to start earlier than we expected. Everything went perfectly well. Both Stuart and Dave are hard workers and productive, job finished ahead of schedule. We will be asking Stuart to consider our future projects. Highly recommended.
