  Can’t recommend enough. Carl converted a small toilet room into a shower room for my elderly parents and his work is superb. In addition to that he was so considerate towards my parents by keeping noise, mess and disturbance to a minimum. Carl will definitely be our first choice for any other work we need doing.

  Very good quality bathroom replacement

  Carl was very kind and considerate from the beginning and guided with all information to buy all items for bathroom and toilet. He gave the timeframe for completion comfortable for us and worked towards it. He was very considerate of the house and did a very clean job. I have never seen such a dedicated and kind british builder so far. If there is more than 5 stars available i would have given that. Definitely going to call him for other work in the house. Very Glad that i chose him to do this job and greatly satisfied with the work.

  1st and 2nd fix or bathroom

  Carl from Larks design and build has been amazing, the quality of work has been excellent and he has been prompt and efficient when carrying out the job at hand. Carl has completed the first and second fix of a bathroom in a timely manner and has helped out on additional plumbing work around the house. I cannot fault him or his work and would 100% recommend.

  Floor tiling and other building works

  Within 30 minutes of posting the ad Carl had responded Carl and 2 days later he had visited and provided a quote. He took much pride in his work, he went above and beyond to sort every new idea thrown at him, and didn’t accept issues like damp get in the way. Everything he did built the trust and that’s not something that always happens. He’s also a good guy, always arrived as planned, grafted all day and even honoured a previous customers booking that fell in the middle of our work - that’s the right thing to do! No surprise he’ll be back again next week for some other general...

  Hallway cupboard

  The measurements were taken two weeks before installation. Our brief was very precise and Carl has done us proud. The cupboard matches perfectly with another in the hallway which we had purchased from a local company. We would highly recommend this company.
