After multiple emails, three site visits, and two quotes, they only told me the late afternoon before, when everything was ordered and arranged for the works to begin and at 8:30am on the actual workday, that they required 50% upfront by cash or bank transfer. They would not accept stage payments or card payments , demanded cash/bank transfer only, offering me no protection., card payment refused. The job didn’t go ahead due to this last-minute demand. I feel extremely let down after all the months of planning
