A sink hole appeared suddenly in my ageing parents drive. I called Lakeside as I had used there services in my own home, Simon came out to look at the job that afternoon and said he would be able to carry out any repairs needed within the next couple of weeks. I have had experience of their work and knew they can be trusted to do the repairs to a high standard without any supervision. I was kept informed as to the cause of the sink hole and the progress of how the job was going with both phone calls and photos. a collapsed soak away was the cause and this was dug out and replaced,

We received 3 or 4 quotes when looking to refurbish a bungalow in Mudeford. By far and away we found Simon / Lakeside to be the easiest and most straightforward to work with throughout the project. We asked for complete transparency when anything went awry and he was good to his word. We lived a distance away and were kept up to date with regular videos around the work going on. The whole job included moving walls, new kitchen, 2 x bathrooms, windows, full redecoration, roof... a complete job and all finished to a very high standard. Definitely would recommend Simon and use again.

The first thing i would say is that Simon waited patiently for a year while we chopped and changed our minds. They has the house back to its shell within the first week and are the tidiest and punctual builders i have every worked with. Each morning, i would have a meeting with Simon at 7.15am, before i went to work and we would discuss any issues that has arisen and how they were going to be solved. Amazingly, all work was completed within 9 weeks and the price quoted was very accurate and i only paid for the agreed extras. I would have no hesitation in recommending Simon and his team.

It's been a year since Simon finished my extension and I,m glad to say, but not surprised, that everything is fine. No cracks or leaks. From the moment I met Simon I knew this was the person I wanted for my project. Very competitive quote and although material costs spiraled before work started he never took advantage, keeping the increase to the minimum. The problems we encountered along the way were always sorted out quickly. Simon was also helpful with advice as I did the landscaping of the garden. I have no hesitation in recommending Lakeside Construction.

Really pleased with the building work Simon did for me. Happy with the price and will use him again. Simon picked up on a couple of complexities that hadn’t been included in the designs my engineer had prepared. He came up with the solution to deliver the necessary structural integrity for the build. My engineer gave positive feedback and this gave me the confidence in Simons experience and his integrity to deliver a quality piece of work. He handled the project management well, effectively coordinating the other trades. He managed to complete the work earlier than originally estimated.

Really impressed. A great all round builder who coordinates any trades you need really well, to get you through on budget, on time and with quality...and a smile. Also got round the UK's current problems on labour supplies and materials really well and with good communications throughout. Would thoroughly recommend Simon and his crew.
