Using Cefil single ply membrane this roof looks clean and modern with a neat and robust finish to the perimeter edges that don't split and carck like traditional bitumen felt.
With this block of garages we stripped the existing felt roof covering and defective chipboard decking. We checked the original joists for rot and once given the all clear we installed a new 18mm Plywood decking ready for the new waterproofing.
Following the installation of the new plywood decking we covered the roof with a PVC single ply roofing membrane which gives a fantastic finish to the roof. The laps are mechanically fastened to the decking and hot air welded to make them water tight. The perimeter edge has a PVC coated trim that the membrane is hot air welded to thus making the waterproofing one piece. The customers were so impressed that we continued to do other garage roofs in close vicinity of their friends.

At home I have recently converted this existing dormer by removing the pitched roof and installing a PVC membrane covered flat roof to create a balcony. Looks brilliant!
Cefil PVC single ply mechanically fastened down the seams with PVC coated metal edge trims make this roof aesthetically pleasing. We also did the balcony roof and large flat roof on top of the house.
