  Quote for work

  Keith came and visited, we had a great conversation but I was then chasing for the quote for several weeks with very slow replies from him, including one saying he has already sent it. In the end (two months later, November 2024) he said that he had a big extension job now so wouldn't be free until April 2025. I said fine, send me the quote anyway and I can make a decision whether to wait. He never did. If he didn't want the job I wish he had just said it and not wasted my time.

  New wooden bargeboards/fascia

  I would thoroughly recommend KDF Carpentry - I was so happy to find a company that gives a proper quote and also a fair quote - turn up when they say they are going to and responds quickly to any queries - Keith and his dad made a really good job of the work required and were lovely too.

  Internal renovation and bespoke garden gates

  The two Keith's (Keith senior and Keith junior) were fantastic. Lovely job of cutting into a chimney breast to renovate it into a shelving unit plus power points, with a pull out drawer for keyboard and mouse. Also made two bespoke wooden gates for the garden. They have been the best builders ever for communicating plans and progress and very tidy. Keith senior even changed the water in my cat's bowl when it got a bit gritty from some dust that has escaped from the chimney breast renovation. Thank you guys.

  Flat renovation .

  Keith did a renovation in my flat after tenants left it in a terrible condition, including painting everything, new carpet, new floor, other details that needed fixing. He did an amazing job in just two weeks ,communication was great and flat was ready on time. I highly recommend Kdf Carpentry and I will use them in the future again for sure.

  Single storey barn conversion

  These guys did a great job. On budget, on time. Very amenable to minor changes. I will definitely them back at some point to do another project.
