Kalen was a real find, very professional, extremely tidy, good timekeeper and an excellent craftsman. He built solid oak under stairs storage with a pull out desk and replaced our stairs with oak and glass. His furniture building skills were beyond our expectations and he followed detailed drawings to a tee. We have already had him back for a second job, replacing all our doors and will have him again when our bathroom refit starts. Initially it looked good, then I noticed that no caps had been fitted to the rail so he had to come back to fit. Was told I didn’t specify so was charged extra but I presumed “fixings” included these! Handrail was fixed straight on to the plasterboard and has since come away at the top. I have advised him of this but though acknowledged, he has not made arrangements to repair.Verified reviewerJob location: OX11
