  Bathroom and staircase painted

  Karen caulked cracks and filled holes in wall where I’d had some work carried out in the bathroom and staircase. She did an amazing job and I’m so happy. Have booked her to do another room in my house. She was so friendly and respectable of my home and left everything spotless. Communication was excellent and she turned up when arranged. I can highly recommend Karen’s workmanship.

  Decorating kitchen, dining room and living room

  Karen is a gem.The quality of her work is excellent. She kept the disruption to a minimum to enable us to use our kitchen. She also entertained (and was entertained by) our cat. We are delighted with the end result. We will definitely be booking Karen for more work in the future.

  Incredibly efficient, friendly decorators

  We appointed Silk & Satinwood to repaint our new front room, and to fix up a lot of damaged walls and poor workmanship from the previous occupants. Karen from the team arrived exactly when promised, reassured on what would be able to be completed, was very responsive and informative after each day's work and ultimately finished a day early (helped by us clearing the room to help ahead of time it must be said, but even so!). The room looks so much fresher, and in a couple of weeks will be fully scrubbable. Competitive and very fair pricing too - we will very likely use them for a future job!

  Loft conversion and interior house painting

  I cannot tell you how please we are with Karen and Steve’s work in our house. We needed major work on our loft extension and woodwork/walls throughout the house. From start to finish the work was carried out with an exceptional eye for detail. I seriously cannot recommend this company highly enough and when we need further work doing, there is no where else I would go. Thank you both.
