  Very happy with Karen’s work. When she encountered a problem caused a by previous damp contractor she went above and beyond to get to the bottom of the problem and to help us solve it. Painting was to a high standard and communication was great throughout. Would use Karen again, and don’t hesitate to recommend her.

  I am delighted to have found Karen, a lovely lady decorator who instantly puts you at ease. I found her to be friendly, helpful with a wealth of knowledge and a great eye for detail. A reliable, conscientious professional who worked cleanly to a high standard showing great respect for my home at all times, which was much appreciated. I am really pleased with the finished job and have booked to have my Dinning room and Kitchen painted in the autumn. I would be very happy to recommend Silk and Satinwood.   Painting of walls

  Karen is a lovely lady with wealth of experience. She is very conscientious, thorough and tidy. We are very pleased with the way she prepared and painted our kitchen and living room walls. Steve also did a great job with smoothing and painting a wall above our kitchen counter. Great value for money. I will definitely use again.

  Steve and Karen did an outstanding job decorating our home, consistently going above and beyond expectations. They worked tirelessly, often staying until very late in the evening each day, to ensure everything was completed to an exceptionally high standard. When our plasterers ran significantly behind schedule, Steve and Karen were incredibly understanding and flexible, fitting us into their busy schedule as soon as possible.   Excellent and Friendly Decorator

  Karen did a fantastic job preparing and painting our Stairs, Landing and Hall and other areas in the house. She was very helpful when deciding exactly what needed doing and gave excellent advice. She is very friendly, tidy and reliable. All communications, both before and during the work were very good. Thank you Karen!

  Bathroom and staircase painted

  Karen caulked cracks and filled holes in wall where I’d had some work carried out in the bathroom and staircase. She did an amazing job and I’m so happy. Have booked her to do another room in my house. She was so friendly and respectable of my home and left everything spotless. Communication was excellent and she turned up when arranged. I can highly recommend Karen’s workmanship.
