Julian was excellent, he provided a quote in good time and patiently answered all my questions throughout. He was able to do all the work within 6 weeks. The included fitting a new bathtub, shower screen, panel, taps and laminate floor. He also fitted a new double glazed unit in the living room, fitted new locks and fixed some creaky floorboards. He also did a major refresh in the garden, replacing old fencing and patio, and creating a gravel pathway into the garden and adding a flower bed border and helping where he could. He was very meticulous and courteous throughout.

Julian of JX Builders did an outstanding job on our loft conversion and roof terrace (Sep 2024–Jan 2025). His craftsmanship, especially on the Herringbone LVT flooring, was top-notch! Julian is meticulous and his work is beautiful! Julian also hung doors for us perfectly! In all his work, he brought care and precision to every detail. Julian was a pleasure to have on site: polite, tidy, cheerful, and hardworking. He works fast, leaves everything clean, and never cuts corners. We’ll definitely hire him again and highly recommend him to anyone needing a skilled, reliable builder. A real gem!

Julian and his team were fantastic. The first clue that they were better than the competition was that they turned up when they said they would. From there, the works were completed both in rapid time but also to a really high standard. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work done or the courtesy of the contractor. Its always a worry letting people into your home and giving them free reign to build within it but i had (and still have) complete confidence and trust in Julian and his work.

From the initial contact to the job completion, Julian was the best ! He undertook the job to an excellent standard. I could see that he is a very skilled builder who takes pride in his work. He was very hard-working and conscientious. He was so friendly and it was just a joy to have him in my house really. I felt very comfortable having him inside my house and I feel very confident in his abilities as a builder. I will definitely be using Julian again for the works to my property and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest, reliable, skilled and friendly builder!

Jxbuilders just refurbished our property and i would like to say that they were absolutely spotless. Julian and the team has done a great job, they really did pay attention to every detail, and very clean, they kept us well informed of what will happen next and very polite.
