Jake removed a load bearing wall/ chimney for me to open my dining room and kitchen. Did a great job. Quick and removed all waste as required. Great communication throughout and very helpful in next steps and what to avoid in future.

I previously left a review and later realised I’d made a mistake with the builder’s name. I was so impressed with the work that I wanted to come back and correct it. Jake from JV Homes Construction Limited removed a load-bearing wall, installed an RSJ, cut through a cavity wall, and fitted a new lintel and window. He was punctual, professional, kept me updated throughout, and completed everything to a very high standard with great attention to detail and a clean finish. I’m extremely pleased with the result and highly recommend him for structural and general building work.

Jake from JVM Builders carried out the removal of a load-bearing wall, installed an RSJ, cut through a cavity wall, fitted a new lintel, and installed a new window for us. What a great service, Jake arrived on time very open and engaging during the consultaion, he explained what he was going to do, and then just got on with it. Very quick, and a very tidy worker, great communication, and a really nice guy to deal with.

Jake worked at my home for two weeks reinforcing beams and joists that had not been installed properly by the housebuilder. I can only speak positively about the experience of contracting him - communication was prompt, clear and detailed and he was very patient while I waited for insurance to confirm they would cover the work. I was away for most of the work and he kept me up to date with photos and videos - he was also proactive in subcontracting an electrician for a small additional piece of work. I’m pleased with the quality of the work and would recommend Jake without hesitation.
