  The guys at Just Extensions installed steels and also carried out other structural work for me as per the structural engineer's design. They liaised entirely with the structural engineer on my behalf.

  Remove existing extension

  Tony and Richard did some preparation work for me. I needed the site of an old extension cleared and then the ground to be marked out and excavated. I also needed new concrete foundations pouring. They were so easy to deal with and kept the mess away from the rest of the garden really well. All waste was removed promptly.

  Installation of large steels and various steelwork as per engineers design.

  Just Extensions installed a number of large steels to the rear of our property to support the house and enable a single storey extension to be built. This was a critical stage in the build and honestly quite nerve wracking seeing the house being picked apart in preparation for the new steel. However, Tony and Rich reassured us throughout the process and completed some great work, including the installation of a 1 tonne steel across the back of the house. We are now confident our 1930's house is well supported and it's allowed for a large open plan room to be created.

  Construct timber roof with three roof lights and concealed gutter details

  Just Extensions constructed a timber roof for our single storey extension; The roof was constructed to plan including insulation and was sealed using an Alwitra membrane. The concealed gutter works brilliantly and is connected to a soakaway in the garden, which Tony and Rich (Just Extensions) dug beforehand. Then came the 3 roof lights, which finished off the roof nicely and provide so much light to the extension. The work carried out is of a high standard and I have no doubt will prove the test of time.

  Build shell in brick and block, all to plans

  Just Extensions laid the brick and block work on our single storey extension measuring approximately 9m x 4m. This stage of the build was highly satisfying seeing the shell coming to life as per the architects plans. The brickwork has been completed to a high standard and we've received numerous compliments on how good it is.
