Concrete from the dry verge was hanging perilously from the gable end and needed to be removed before it fell. Joe Smith came within 24hrs of my call and assessed the problem. within 48hrs scaffold was erected and the following day Joe and his team arrived to strip the roof, remove all the old rotten battens that were mostly rotten and the old membrane that was perished. They cleaned the old tiles and attached a new membrane and new battens throughout . The next day they arrived, laid the old tiles back on the roof and fixed new screw-in ridge tiles. The dry verge was relayed on new mortar.

Our first meeting he spent an hour with me, spent time to really assess the situation and did a quick fix, without charging me and gave me options if we wanted further work. No pressure at all. We decided to get new guttering and the roof fascia sorted and times cleaned. He was very reasonable and got it done very quickly. He’s good at communicating and very professional. He also spent two hours checking the rest of the bungalow for damp and resolved another small issue for no charge. Great work ethic and lovely person.

Contacted Joe re. problem with water leaking past a vent pipe in the roof. He arrived on time, quickly identified the problem, remedied it straight away and made no charge because it was a “very small job”. Professional and honest. Recommended.
