  Replacement soffits, fascia’s and cladding

  I recently had the pleasure of having Jamie carry out some work on our home, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. Jamie replaced the fascia and soffits and re-clad the dormer windows/garage and he did an exceptional job. From start to finish, he was professional, reliable, and friendly. He made sure to keep the work area clean and tidy throughout the process, which I really appreciated. No task was too much trouble for him, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was done to a high standard. I highly recommend Jamie for any work and would definitely use him again!

  To create an internal opening 3m wide in loadbearing masonry wall to create an open plan space.

  Many thanks to Jamie and Jim of J Shirley and Sons Lofts. Recently they have completed works on our property - creating an opening through a loadbearing wall (including propping, lintel, boxings and making good walls). Scored 10 in all areas - the works were carried out in a exceptional, professional and friendly manner, with good communication, quality workmanship, multi trade experience, fully dust protected, all surplus material removed and left in a clean and tidy state upon completion.   Creating and installing a new window in gable end.

  Although slow to start because of the weather affecting their other jobs we were kept informed throughout and eventually agreed a mutually convenient date for installation. Communication was brilliant. The installation was completed in a very good manner; protective covering to floors, and dust and debris cleared away promptly. Both Jamie and his Father were very pleasant and polite.

  7 months of varied works of building, carpentry, ground work, roofing, plastering

  All work was completed expertly from design through problem solving through to completion over a seven month period in a friendly and professional manner. This is the 2nd time we have used this company and would thoroughly recommend them. We will have further work for them in the future.

  Single storey rear extension

  Jamie and Jim built our small kitchen diner extension. Our site had narrow non-level access and they worked hard through all weathers over a 6-month period. They were punctual, courteous and highly responsive with their communication at all times. Other than electrics they took on all jobs by themselves; often having to work with heavy items with challenging access. Jamie was flexible as some aspects of the build changed and brought our extension plans to life.
