9.67 Lighting Circuit Fault

I had a persistent issue with a lighting circuit that kept tripping. An electrician from JRG Electrical came to my house, quickly identified the fault, and replaced the damaged cable causing the problem. Since the repair, the circuit has been working perfectly. Liam spent two days checking the house moving in and out of rooms. I then received a bill for 1620 pounds for work carried out. I refused to pay until I had seen a report of what he did. He supplied a email with words like needing further investigation etc. I paid the money and asked for a quote to undertake repairs. We had a problem with one of the main circuits tripping and finally failing. Liam came and worked systematically to find the fault which turned out to be caused by penetrating damp. He sorted out the problem gave us advice as to what were our next steps, and left us with a workable supply to our main living room. We have booked him to return to finish the job once the damp treatment has been completed. My name is Liam and I run JRG Electrical, an electrical firm based in Epsom. We were established in 1998 and first registered with the NICEIC in 2002. Our work is spread around London, Surrey and Kent and we offer a range of domestic and commercial services: Fault Finding, EICRs, Planned & Reactive Maintenance, External Lighting and Power. Our aim is to resolve your issue on our first call and that is why we ensure all our vans are fully stocked with products ranging from switches and sockets to light bulbs and circuit breakers. Our store room is also fully stocked up and all our technicians have 24/7 access, so if on the rare occasion we do attend an emergency and do not have the parts on the van we will have them in the stores.
